Annual Meeting 2019


September 8 at 3 p.m.
Omaha Baptist Church, Unionville
Theme: "Partnership in the Gospel" 

Omaha is in northern Putnam County just a few miles south of the Missouri-Iowa border.  It is on a gravel road in the small town of Omaha, just west of Highway 149.  It's about an hour and fifteen minutes from Macon and about 45 minutes from Kirksville.  The church has a brand new facility and they have invited us to come up and be with them. 
Directions:  From Highway 136 (east of Unionville or west of Lancaster) go north on Hwy 149.  At the town of Omaha, turn left (west ) on Petty Mill Trail and the church is about 1 block west on the right.  The address is: 40056 Petty Mill Road.
Registration is at 2:30.

This is the policy regarding messengers as found in the association constitution:
 Each church shall be entitled to three messengers and one additional messenger for each fifty, or fraction of fifty, resident members as reported on the Annual Church Profile. No church shall have more than eight messengers. The Senior Pastor shall be recognized as a messenger of the church and shall be counted as one of the church’s messengers

Business Session/Ministry Celebration will begin at 3. 

Dinner (available by reservation) at 5:15 pm
A meal of smoked and roasted pork loin and turkey will be provided by the Omaha Baptist Church.  A form (see registration form above) is available for you to reserve meals which will cost $12 if you register by the deadline of September 3.  After September 3 a limited number of meals will be available at $15.  There is a children's meal option for kids that are 12 and under for $6/  Please enclose payment with the form.  Send responses to Bro. Evening session begins at 6:30 pm 
Preacher for the evening session will be Dr. Mark Millman, Director of Missions for Southern Wisconsin Baptist Association, Madison, WI, and NAMB church planting strategist for Wisconsin.  He will address the theme of the meeting, "Partnership in the Gospel," using Philippians 1:3-6.  "I thank my God every time I remember you.  In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until ow, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.".
