Annual Meeting 2021

Hamilton Street Baptist Church

Directions to Hamilton Street:  Just west of S. Osteopathy St. at Hamilton St. in the southwest part of Kirksville.  
Pastor Steven Nelson and the staff and members of Hamilton Street welcome THBA messengers and guests to their facility. 
The business session will begin at 3:00.  Registration will open at 2:30.  Hamilton Street Baptist Church is arranging worship music for the meeting.  Dinner will be at 5 pm, with the evening worship session at 6:30.

You can register as a messenger or as a guest.  



This is the policy regarding messengers as found in the association constitution:
 Each church shall be entitled to three messengers and one additional messenger for each fifty, or fraction of fifty, resident members as reported on the Annual Church Profile. No church shall have more than eight messengers. The Senior Pastor shall be recognized as a messenger of the church and shall be counted as one of the church’s messengers.   


Any number of guests may attend the may attend in addition to the church's messengers.

Business Session/Ministry Celebration will begin at 3.  
Evening Meal 5:00 pm
The evening meal is being catered by Noland’s Catering of Macon. They are planning to serve the buffet meal of smoked pulled pork or chicken breast with vegetables, salad and dessert. The cost will be $12 if reserved by the deadline of September 3rd. After the deadline the meal will cost will increase to $15.Hiere is a link to reserve meals and pre-register messengers and guests. That form is due back at the THBA office by September 3rd at 3 PM. Please enclose payment for meals with the registration form. Make checks to THBA. Send meal requests and messenger/guest lists and payments back to: Thousand Hills Baptist Association, 1701 Jamison, Kirksville, MO 63501.

 Speaker:  Dr. John Yeats 

Dr. John Yeats serves as the Executive Director/Treasurer (CEO) of the Missouri Baptist Convention.  He oversees the mission and ministries assigned to the organization by the 1725+ Missouri Baptist churches. His responsibilities include administration, leadership and strategic planning. One of his primary goals is that of building a culture of connectedness among Missouri Baptists.

He serves on the board of trustees for the Missouri Baptist affiliate organizations: Missouri Baptist Children’s Home; Missouri Baptist Foundation; The Baptist Home; Hannibal LaGrange University; Missouri Baptist University.

Dr. Yeats also is the Recording Secretary for the Southern Baptist Convention.
