Internships Available Summer, Fall, and Spring
Each year the Missouri Baptist Disaster Relief organization offers an excellent opportunity for students to serve as collegiate interns. The ten-week paid program will take students from where they are to being proficient in the major areas of disaster relief, develop leadership skills, and grow spiritually. This collegiate team will serve locally within our state, or possibly go to surrounding states to serve the people who have been affected by the recent tornados, fires, flooding, and other disasters.
2023 internships run from May 29 – August 4. Applications are due April 1.

Scholarships available
Scholarships for Baptist Students attending Truman State University
The Elmore Trust Scholarship is available to students who are active in a northeast Missouri Southern Baptist Church, and who are/will be attending Truman. The scholarship is for $1,000 per semester (depending on need) available annually. Application deadline is in May.

Missouri Baptist Heritage Scholarship
Southwest Baptist University, Missouri Baptist University, and Hannibal-LaGrange University are cooperating with the Missouri Baptist Historical Commission to offer three $2,000 scholarships annually to students attending SBU, HLGU, or MBU. Applicants must do research and write a paper on some aspect of Missouri Baptist history. All papers must be submitted no later than April 1 for the fall semester of the same year.
